(note: might take a while to load)
A picsound done by Kaveh Ardalan. Original score and stills from the dream sequence scene from "The Apparition", a film by Asif Siddiky. Poem by Jack Gilbert. Copyright 1962 from the book Views of Jeopardy, Yale University Press.
A picsound done by Kaveh Ardalan, future m.d. and wicked musician. Esfahan, what!? Contains sampled music featuring Kaveh Ardalan, Aaron Albin, and Christian Sawyer.
A short film by aspiring
young film makers Jamie and Brendan Finucane. Brothers since birth,
their penchant for wild and expressive camera angles has already had
tremendous influence on New York's experimental docu-drama film scene.
They are slotted to direct "Hoops 4: Rise of the next Superstars",
which should be out by 2030.
A primitive drum machine. If it sounds kinda stuttery, that's the drunk in the drunk drummer.
Reverse sketch done with eraser by Asif Siddiky.
Contains a cello loop played by roomate/bandmate Brendan Finucane.
"I am the Federal marshall of this territory!"
Contains a sample by Orange Drink.
This picsound was done completely by Kaveh Ardalan, fellow bandmate and kabob eater. Esfahan, what!?

This is based on the idea of magnetic poetry, except instead of words, you can arrange sounds. At first it might be easier not to drag anything, to get a feel for how the buttons respond. Hover or click to trigger sounds. [180 Kb]

This was the first experiment with flash and interactive musicmaking. The picture is a computer generated fractal. Up until I had finished making the flash, I thought it was some sort of infra-red, blue-filtered rendering of a galaxy from space. Hovering the mouse over certain parts of the fractals plays sounds, but you have to search around to find them. [541 Kb]
